Get ready for some festive fun because Santa is back at the Milton Fairgrounds for the third year running! This December, families can enjoy a magical day out with Santa Morgan, who will be there to snap photos with everyone. The event runs over the first three weekends of December, from 10 AM to 4 PM. While you're there, explore local vendors, warm up by the outdoor fire pits, and indulge in some delicious s’mores. There's no entrance fee, but photos with Santa are $15 each. Don't forget to bring a donation for the Milton Community Resource Center’s Fill a Crib campaign. It's a perfect way to get into the holiday spirit!

Christmas on the Rails 2024

Join in the holiday season for a truly special experience! The Halton County Radial Railway is opening its doors one last time before spring to offer a festive ride like no other. Get the chance to tie through snow-covered woods on vintage streetcars, surrounded by holiday decor and the sound of Christmas carols. Santa himself will make an appearance, saying hello to visitors and occasionally stepping in to drive the streetcar.

Everything from the streetcars to the buildings and grounds is beautifully decorated for the season. Each ride lasts about 20 minutes, with up to four different streetcars available to try. Warm beverages like cider, coffee, or hot chocolate, along with cookies, will be available for purchase to keep you cozy as you explore the festive grounds.

Christmas on the Rails runs Saturday December 14th from 1:00 - 8:00 and Sunday December 15th, 1:00 - 7:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online, or right at the door. Please note, for safety reasons, dogs are not allowed at this event, though service animals are welcome.

One of the highlights of heading to Erin Hill Acres is picking out your Christmas tree. Love the idea of cutting your own? Or maybe you'd rather keep it easy with a pre-cut tree? Either way, they’ve got you covered! If you’ve never cut your own tree before, the super-friendly staff is always there to lend a hand. If you'd prefer to select a pre-cut tree, the selection on hand are just as gorgeous and ready to bring some holiday magic straight to your living room. Erin Hill Acres is open Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm, weekend timeslots are 9-1 and 1-5. Closing day is December 22nd at 5pm
